How Emotions Affect Your Health and Leadership (feat. Dr. Bradley Nelson)

Apr 28, 2021

Ever feel like there’s some annoying thing holding you back? Something that’s inhibiting your success in business or your personal life?

Maybe it’s related to mental health, such as depression, anxiety, or panic attacks. Maybe it’s actual physical pain, such as migraines, neck pain, back pain, etc. Or maybe you have no idea what’s preventing you from being your best.

Well, according to our podcast guest’s application of quantum physics, the source of all this pain very well could be from “balls of energy” distorting our body’s normal energy field. And when our energy field gets blocked or screwed up, so does the body itself.

What’s the source of these distorted balls of energy?

Trapped emotions, or what Dr. Bradley Nelson likes to call “emotional baggage.”

As Dr. Nelson describes, we all carry emotional baggage. The baggage we carry is trapped, leftover energy from emotional experiences that we’ve all been through such as being bullied, going through a divorce, loss of a loved one, or other potentially traumatic experiences. With this emotional baggage, manifesting abundance, love, the business we want, the life we want, is much harder.

In this latest episode of The Enlightened Executive, I talk with Dr. Bradley Nelson who is a holistic chiropractor and author of the best-selling book “The Emotion Code.” In this fascinating conversation, Dr. Nelson explains his key approach to “The Emotion Code” by starting with the heart.

Most people don’t realize it, but the heart is like another brain. It has neurons just like the brain does and sends more messages to the brain than the brain sends to the heart. And it’s the most powerful source of energy within our bodies. As a result, it is the heart where emotional baggage build-up can be the most devastating. This “Heart-Wall” hurts our ability to give and receive love and, more importantly for leaders, the ability to manifest great ideas.

True leadership is heart-based. And when we have a wall of baggage surrounding our hearts, it can be very hard to inspire and communicate with our teams effectively.

But once that heart wall is removed through techniques shown in the “The Emotion Code,” both personal and leadership effectiveness improve.

According to Dr. Nelson, we’re able to manifest what we want with greater ease and efficiency.

It’s easier to be your authentic self, and others will gravitate towards your leadership as a result.
